For each life lost, a flower now stands in Green Park, planted individually, in the 7/7 memorial garden. The flowers are set into one group surrounded by four ancient trees, representing the four locations – King's Cross, Aldgate and Edgware Road underground stations, and Tavistock Square where the No 30 double decker bus was blown up.
London residents in Second Life have been visiting the new memorial during Tuesday. Also, at the same time that the real life event was taking place in Hyde Park, Second Life residents followed the minute's silence.
